Sound/alert options for fb messenger.

Why hasn’t Apple or Facebook made the ability to changer alert sound or volume louder to alert you you’ve received a new message? If it’s not completely quiet in the room you barely notice it. I always hear and see stuff complaining about it but nothing is done about it. How difficult could at be in comparison to the Tec they’ve created.

Lucky for you, Apple has made the ability to changer alert sound or volume louder to alert you you’ve received a new message. This is indeed a part of apple's features portfolio

Your alert sound volume is dependent on your ringer volume. If your ringer volume is set to 25% volume, your alert volume will be at the same level. To increase your notification alert volume, increase your ringer volume.

to do this, on iPhone 7 and later, you can adjust the settings for ringtone and vibration in Settings > Sounds & Haptics. On earlier iPhone models, go to Settings > Sounds.
