Serial Number Connected to the Wrong Mac

Hi,

When I try to enter the Serial Number of my relatively-new Mid 2018 MacBook Pro on Apple's Trade In page, I get a completely wrong model (a 2010 Macbook Pro) with virtually no value. Can anyone help?

You may have to use Apple Feedback site pages to let them know there's an issue in there.

However this oddly enough, does NOT let you know by any acknowledgement, of any action.

This appears to mostly pertain to their Web Pages, that may be the channel to use/report this.

https://www.apple.com/contact/feedback/

Site gives you choices, some divert you other places; some not so useful.

The Contact Support site where you may (or not?) tell someone of the issue,

may be better suited to know someone heard of problem; or may act on it.

Good luck in any event!🌞🎣
