Apple Music Playlists without Sync Library or iCloud Music Library

I've looked around the forum and the support pages. I found this article in the official support section claiming you can create playlists with Apple Music tracks without adding them to your Library https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206183

I can't find the option "Add Playlist Songs" in my iPhone settings but I'm afraid that's because I haven't synced my library.

I don't want to Sync my extensive Library because of the very specific versions and covers I have there but I would still like to create playlists with Apple Music tracks...

Anyone know a workaround?

Hi thkoutsaft,

From your post, it sounds like you need help locating the option to not add songs to library when adding to a playlist. You are correct, this option is not available unless Sync Music is enabled. We encourage you to leave feedback about this feature by visiting the product feedback website here: Product Feedback

Have a great day!
