AT&T uses Yahoo for email services.

Their email service is complete garbage. It has been for decades...

Do yourself a favor, set up a free email account with outlook.com, gmail, iCloud, pretty much anyone but Yahoo, and use that instead.

In the mean time, download the Yahoo mail app and set your AT&T mail up in that.
