Mail app won’t add att mail

Mail app won’t allow me to add my att.email . I have had it for years then one day it asked for password and won’t let me back. I can access my email using other ways , so it isn’t my password

i deleted my account restarted phone and tried to re add att account .

no luck

Unable to add an additional email address to my mail account I have followed all the steps exactly to add an email account on my ipad/iPhone but on the “verifying” screen i keep getting “No password provided for Att Mail” which is the name I gave it. It also says “go to mail account settings and enter a password” which is done and correct. NOTE: I opened the Outlook.com site and was able to successfully add that email address AND get al the emails on it. I want to be able to click on the envelope icon shown on the main screen and see all my emails from all accounts.

trouble adding email acct on iPhone 11 trying to add a comcast email acct. on iPhone 11. entered info including password but when system tries to verify, says no password provided for <name>. Then says go to mail account setting and enter a password. since the email account isn't created yet, can't find this option. tia

Reading the trobleshooting steps you already tried (to no avail), I suggest that you contact att support team and check with them your email account parameters (SMPT, IMAP or POP3, SSL, etc). They should be able to help you.
