I have just purchased the MacBook Pro 13" 2020 (the updated one) and have to come to use it and noticed the fan is extremely loud after just 10 minutes setting it up and the device is also very hot?... This is my first MacBook so I don't know if this is normal?

I think it's normal, though if you consider it is not normal, check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something.
