Iphone 11 Pro hardware issue

My Iphone 11pro (under warranty) has uneven bulges on the left side of the screen, it looks really terrible when you look at it. On the right side it looks flawless and even but on the left side it looks uneven with silver and black alternative bulges. I took it to the genius bar expecting apple to fix this but the technician told me it was due to a battery swelling and took it in for repair, even after the repair the bulges are still there perhaps increased even more now, when asked about it the technicians tell me that it is a minor cosmetic change which cannot be fixed. Really disappointed with Apple, I did not pay C$ 1372 for a phone which looks like a bad clone. We expect a flawless and a premium phone from Apple and not an ugly defective phone. I really hope to hear back from apple with a solution for this because I don't want to carry around a phone which looks like a cheap clone. I'm not asking for a replacement all I am asking for is to be fixed.
