iPhone 11 opens on second page of apps when unlocked

Every time I unlock my iPhone, it automatically opens on the second page of apps. I hardly ever go to the second page so am sure I don't lock phone while on that page. Always stay on homepage. This is becoming annoying. I have seen one post about this in this forum that seemed to have no replies. I did as suggested and reset all the phone settings to default. Didn't change anything. It is always opening on second page. I even shuffled around all the apps to different pages hoping it was a particular app causing this. No change.
