macOS update

I have MacBook Pro 2013 and Here MacOS X 10.8.5

I want to update MacOS Catalina, I tried But It want to Update macOS 10.9 update

and 10.9 update is not available in it

I tried some other ways but in the App Store Apple Id can’t sign in because of there doesn’t not display of Verification Code Menu.

please Do Need full for us

The pop up does not come up to allow me to input the verification code. Please help. I need to update my OS.

Current System is OS X Version 10.9.5 I have an old Macbook Pro (2014) and I need to upgrade system updates but it just lists 5 incompatible updates so not sure what to do? Can anyone advise as I am not getting the verification code box which is stopping me from logging into my apple accounts (emails, itunes etc)

Is there a way to upgrade MacOS without using the app store? I am trying to do a hard update to my iMac 21.5 (late 2013) and bring it up to Catalina from Yosemite. When I try to download it from the app store it asks for apple ID authentication and expects a 6-digit passcode but there is nowhere to enter it. Any advice? Is there a way to upgrade macOS without going through the app store?

You will need to update to macOS 10.11 El Capitan first.

Once you install El Capitan, you will be able to upgrade to Catalina.
