screen "smudges" on new out-of-the-box MacBook Air 2020

Found some "smudges" on screen of new out-of-the-box MacBook Air 2020. Can only see these smudges against daylight reflection. Read that these are some antiglare coating issue. Read online about this issue. Apparently not new. I contacted AppleCare and sent them a picture of smudges. They said these smudges might worsen over time. I contacted the seller/store I bought it from; they said to go to Apple Genius Bar. Anyone experienced something similar? What did you do? And did the smudges worsen over time? Over how much time?
