Streaks on Macbook Pro screen

These strange streaks have shown up on my screen, and when I tried to clean it, it got worse. Am I cleaning it wrong? I would assume there is a certain way to clean it and I just did it wrong.

It is a 2017 Macbook Pro.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.2
