Catalina 10.15.6 - Why can't I drag and drop files to move them to another folder in Finder. When I hold down the track pad to drag, a preview pops up.

I had to go to Track Pad and in Look up and Data from force click with one finger to tap with three fingers. Now it work.

If I push down and try to hold with thumb it just opens a preview. That didn't work
Press down on the trackpad with your thumb, and then using your index finger, drag and drop the file. As long as the thumb is pressing down, you can slightly release the index finger to extend the drag and drop farther on the screen via a series of swipes.
Catalina 10.15.6. Lower left corner of the trackpad works for my thumb placement. No Preview appears.
