When I say to my HomePod "Play Radio 5" or "play BBC Radio 5 Live" it just says that it cannot create a station based on that. I also tried "Play Radio Italia" which is a station that I have in Apple Music AND is with Tunein but instead it plays a different station.
Any ideas what I can do to help this work?

We'd be happy to do what we can to get your HomePod to play your requested stations.
We'd first like to have you try to ask Siri on your iPhone to play a station using the phrase, "Hey Siri, play Radio 5 station", to see if Siri responds and plays what was requested.
If she does, try using the same exact phrase with the HomePod to see if that works.
If it doesn't, go to o to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff > and toggle on Transfer to HomePod as well as Handoff. Then play the radio station on your iPhone, and place it right next t your HomePod. This should prompt the homed to start playing the station.
