"Can’t install the [Windows Support] software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server"

Hello, I am trying to install the Windows Support Software from boot camp assistant but I keep getting an error stating, “Can’t install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.” I made sure that I was using an external drive with the correct formatting and enough storage and that my Mac is connected to the internet but it still gave me the same error. I even tried restarting my Mac but that wouldn't work either. After contacting both Apple Support and Microsoft Support, I was led here. (The way I am downloading this is Open Boot Camp Assistant -> Action -> Download Windows Support Software)
