Problem fixed with a reboot of the iPhone. Still, Apple, if you’re seeing this:
The process for purchasing a .99 iCloud plan was more time consuming than purchasing a $1000 iPad.
Upgrading my iCloud plan required me to enter my Apple ID password twice, entering my Apple Card security code (which was in Wallet), and re-entering all of my billing info including my phone number. For crying out loud, all of this info is on the phone.
My iPad purchase required Touch ID verification and that was it. Why all of the security over purchasing a .99 iCloud plan? Is there some ring of crooks out there going around buying complete strangers iCloud plans?
