Entirely Deleting Photos Through Albums

I usually sort all my photos into albums and then go through the albums and delete duplicates or bad photos. Since upgrading to Catalina (I think), the option to permanently delete a photo directly from an album seems to be missing. It will delete the photo from the album only. Is there something I'm missing or did Apple really get rid of this option?

While in the Album, hold down the Cmd key and the 'Remove from Album' command changes to a 'delete' command. Cmd+backspace will delete the selected picture(s) immediatey without a dialogue. (Undo works, I'm pleased to say!)
