change phone number in FaceTime

good afternoon, could you tell me, please, I have an iPhone XS Max, everything worked correctly, including FaceTime, then I had to change the phone number, but FaceTime stopped working (activation failed), only FaceTime and iMessages still display the old phone number, change the number does not work. what can be done?
