Lost contact names in Messages

The other day I lost the contact names listed in iMessage... it reverted all messages to a phone number only. No issue in Contacts that I can see. Any ideas?

Unable to send iMessages to myself on my iPhone X When sending a "text" message to myself using my iPhone X, it only sends SMS messages (green bubble). I cannot send iMessage (blue bubble) to myself using my iPhone. There is no issue with sending iMessages to all my other contacts, the only issue is with sending to myself when using my iPhone X with iOS 16.0.2 installed. I am able to send iMessages (blue bubble) from my MBP 2015 and 2021 versions all the time with no issues. After syncing, my iPhone X shows MBP iMessage with blue bubbles. How to sync my iMessages with my iCloud account? I have lost a lot of imessages suddenly. When I investigate I am told that my Icloud and iMessage accounts do not match. This has happened suddenly without any interference from me [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I just rebooted and got most of the numbers reverted back to names... for anybody with the same issue
