MacBook Pro 7 storage's almost full

I purchase my Mac book pro 7 months ago. When I try to use final cut and download video it says "The storage device "Macintosh HD" is almost full.

Free up storage space and click continue or cancel the background tasks

That means...your internal storage is almost full. You have too much stuff saved on your computer and you need to remove some files. Simplest way is to get an external drive and copy off (then delete) files to which you do not need continual access. Old FCP projects, for example.
