AppleCare+ Replacement iPhone

i had AppleCare+ on my iPhone then it was replaced at the apple store under the 1st accidental damage, but is the new iPhone meant to come with the remaining few months of AppleCare+ and the 2nd accidental damage?

Your AppleCare+ expiration date remains the same as before and you are still entitled to another claim for accidental damage. This cover will be automatically transferred over to your new iPhone.
