All my books in iBook disappeared.

I had downloaded about a dozen books from the free iBooks catalog but today they are all gone. That includes the Winnie the Pooh and iPad user guide.
Does anyone know why/what/how this happened.

I hesitate to use iBooks now until I find out if they are going to disappear on a regular basis.

Thanks for any info anyone has.

Now you can fix it easily with iOS 10. Just delete the app and reinstall it again

I meant, "Hide ICLOUD Books" toggle at the bottom of the Collections page. (I guess there isn't a way to edit your own comments?)

try using the Adobe Reader App...Definitevely frustrating with the iPad´s iBooks. looks promising but has an old bug that Apple does not care to fix

ok so this just happened to me this morning i shut off my phone and turned it back on. went to ibooks and everything was back in there

All my books in iBook disappeared.
