My phone has used all of the 64GB storage. I've deleted a lot of the apps and pictures attachments etc. it still says that its full. can i reset it somehown

My iphone 8Plus is over the 64GB storage. I deleted several apps and attachments, pics etc but it still says all the storage is full. Is there a way to unlock it some how? any recommendations I can try? i really don't want a new phone.

Here is a basic guide on how to manage your device's storage.


We know that you mentioned you deleted some attachments and photos. When you delete photos, the deleted items are placed in the Recently Deleted folder in your Photos app under Other Albums. To empty this and free up that space, open the Photos app, tap on Albums, then go to Other Albums, and open Recently Deleted. From here, tap on Select, then tap on Delete All.

If you find that photos and videos take up the majority of your storage, use this guide to manage that content.


You can also use this guide to follow some storage recommendations.
