Track progress when using Finder to copy files to iPad

I sometimes copy a full TV series to my iPad, which involves copying ~60 large MP4 files and I do that using Finder in the latest version of macOS. However, I for the life of mine couldn't find a way to check copy progress. As the last resort, I end up using Activity Monitor to see if disk IO is high. Is there a user friendly way, a progress bar or something like that?

Hi bl4ck5un,

It sounds like you're trying to check the status of the progress when you're syncing content from your Mac to your iPhone. We can certainly understand wanting to do that and can definitely help out.

In order to do this, you will just need to make the finder window a little larger and you will see the grey progress bar while the sync is in progress.

Additionally, here's a great article for helping with syncing your iPhone with your Mac through Finder: Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer
