Connect ipad 10.2 inch (2019) to xcode

hi everyone. i'm willing to buy an ipad 2019 (10.2 inch) because i want to start learning to develop for IOS with xcode, i want to know if my system would handle connection with the ipad, i'm running macOS 10.13.6. on a macbook My concern is not to be able to connect the ipad for testing my apps, because on the apple store page, it says that the minimum OS required for connection with the finder is 10.5. So i'm i will be able to test my apps on my ipad or i need to search for another solution (maybe buying other Ipad or find a newer macbook)
