I have recently had more and more MP4 video clips that will not play in iTunes.
When I open the File Explorer with the video clips I see some clips do not have a preview icon (I use the VLC player as my default player) while others do. It is the ones missing this preview that will not play in iTunes.

We understand you're having trouble with iTunes. Do the MP4 videos with missing preview icons play inside of VLC player without an issue? If so, we'd recommend making sure your iTunes software is updated. You can learn how here: Update to the latest version of iTunes
