iMac screen turning off and on again Hi I wonder if anyone has had this... When using my iMac just the screen randonly turns off and on again and shortly after its back on it will make the start up tone. It is happening every 30mins or so. Does anyone have any sugguestions as to what this could be or how to fix it please?

When I start my iMac, the screen stays dark, but I can hear a noise from the unit. It sounds like a coffee maker. However it never boots up and the screen remains dark. Thoughts? Any trouble shooting ideas or just take it to the Apple store?
