what is webkit- is my hardware wrong?

Why would my iPhone 6 Plus, say in the analytics “WebKit” that my hardware is a iPhone 7,1 ?? I’ve had a hacker next door to me for over a year. He cloned my phone last year. I didn’t think he could mess with me without touching my phone. But, I had a break-in and my iPhone box was sitting out! Is this a threat?

The internal iPhone designator iPhone 7,1 is an iPhone 6+. (See https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/?search_keywords=iPhone7,1). Each iPhone has an internal designator which is different than the name it is marketed under.

What you are seeing is just the information that happens when an application crashes. WebKit is the engine/tool that Safari is built on.

That’s all. Nothing nefarious.
