iMovie problems...

when i wanna import movies to my iMovie , it says :


"" Not Enough Disk Space

There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. Please choose another one or clear some space.""


and i know now u wanna tell me clear your cache or ... , i wanna tell u that my mac has about 350GB free space and my iMovie library has nothing in it and it's empty !!!! with 964KB of size !!!


what should i do ? cleaned iMovie once and reinstalled it again , nothing solved !


i didn't worked with my iMovie by now !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try again to redownload iMovie, as that usually cures the "not enough disk space" problem. Use this procedure: To

update/redownload iMovie 10, drag your iMovie 10 app from the Applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the trash. Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there. If not successful, drag your present iMovie app out of the trash and return it to the Applications folder.


Then delete preferences. Open iMovie while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete

preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. Now see if you can import.


Also, instead of importing directly into iMovie try importing a video to your Mac's desktop using the Image Capture app on your Mac.
