Someone using my number??

I just received a notification/alert message on my iPhone warning me that someone recently signed into FaceTime or iMessage on a new Apple Watch using my number and during pairing. It said if this was me I could ignore the message. It wasn't me. My Apple Watch is charging in another room and no other devices use my number. Any idea what to do to keep devices secure?
