Unknown payment

I bought the MacBook Air and accepted the student offer for a pair of free AirPods, but Apple recently took out $247 but my Total was $1,300 so what was that charge for it the AirPods are supposed to be free

MacBook air I ordered a Mac book air from the education store from Apple and got the deal for free AirPods but I decided to upgrade to AirPods Pro for 90.00. For some reason I was charged the full 250.00 plus tax to my account while my order for my MacBook is still processing And the amount for the Mac hasn't been charged yet From my account . It’s been processing for three days now is this normal??
