Scroll Button problem
I can scroll downward efficiently by using the scroll button but cannot scroll back upwards and have to click scroll; this is since installing the latest update. to Catalina.

It sounds like you're experiencing some issues with scrolling. We will be happy to help. Does this happen in Safari, or in all apps? If this is happening only in Safari, let's see if this happens in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac
If it doesn't let's check your Safari extensions and disable them: How to install Safari extensions on your Mac

Thanks for that, Melissa_m77. It caused me to install extra apps that will be useful! I had the thought this morning that it could maybe be the Apple connected mouse so I've swopped it for another one and that does efficiently scroll up and down so my problem appears to be solved. It will of course, entail the purchase of another Apple plugged in mouse.
