I already pay for extra storage space in ICloud so why is my IPad claiming I have no room?

Why does IPad claim I have no more space? I pay every month for extra ICloud storage.

Physical storage on the iPad cannot be increased and buying more iCloud storage does not help with that. iCloud storage is totally different that the storage on the device.
