no sounds for text or calls

I am not getting any sound when a text comes in or a call on my Iphone 11 when it is in sleep mode. I have checked and it is not silenced or turned off. The phone is set up right and rings are picked out from the choices on the phone. I do have a check at the "while iPhone is locked" in the Do Not Disturb area of settings but I can't undo that check. The choices are Always and While iPhone is Locked. Could that be the issue? villagelady
