10.15.6 supplemental update SSL Errors

Since installing 10.15.6 supplemental update on Friday, I cannot browse to any web sites using HTTPS, and even MacOS Software Updates reports an SSL error. Internet was working until 10.15.6 supplemental update. Nothing on my network has changed.

This on an iMac connected to internet over WiFi.

I've removed all expired certs, rebooted multiple times.

Rebooting in Safe Mode allowed internet connection. Problem ended up being with 3rd party software extension, Covenant Eyes. Got an update from them and all is well.

Did you try booting to safe boot and try the download and install(?)

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache,  etc.  Login  and proceed
