Hi,
I'm wondering if there's some news about removing a static background like Fotobooth and other are making since years. Pixelfilm studios is making a plugin that removes moving object but I'm looking the opposite: keeping the moving objects in the image. The difference technique looks awful. Any ideas on how to remove the background ?

This developer has, shall we say, a less than stellar reputation around here.
The technique in question is referred to as a difference matte.

thanks for your useful help and link to the thread. Unfortunately, I did try the difference technique already with Motion but it's not clean enough, I can't get a clean mask. I can't understand why it's easier to delete moving object than the opposite.
