Can't Open Files

Hi, I don't know when it happened but recently i tried to look at a numbers file i created in 2017. I had looked at his randomly so i know it worked. Tonight i couldn't find it at all. I search from the magnifying glass and found it but it wasn't in any format I could open. What happened??? I have a picture of what files are in there, it is just a bunch of html, css and other things. Any way I can recover it?

I don't know what's up with these robotic replies that parrot back your problem statement then provide no useful help.

What you are showing in your screenshot does not look like a Numbers file at all, at least not for Numbers on a Mac. It is javascript and html, not Numbers stuff.

From searching on some of those file names, it looks like a Google Sheets document. Have you tried opening any of those files in a text editor to see what is in them?

Sorry for the bad screenshot below but it was a poorly formatted webpage and the text at the top wouldn't show completely. But you can see it says Google Sheets

Hey LHughes421,

As we understand it, you've recently opened a Numbers file from 2017, but are now unable to open it again.

This article outlines opening up files in Numbers, and things to check if a file will not open: Open a spreadsheet in Numbers on Mac.
