Fall Detection and Apple Watch

Is the fall detection a good feature for an 85 year old? Has anyone ever used for their elderly family member?

Yes, it is pretty good. My grandmother (72) has it and it has worked. She has fallen and the Apple Watch was able to detect it and then call emergency services. I have it on my watch. I turned it off, I play football and when I would get tackled it would go off. It is pretty accurate. If it detects a fall and she didn't fall, she can simply press, I didn't fall and they wont call 911. When/if you fall it will call 911 after a certain time. She wont need to do anything. It is a very nice feature.

Have a great day.
