How do I delete the photos on my Iphone 6S without deleting them from my MacBook Air as well?

Are you using iCloud Photo Library? If so, deleting a photo on one device also deletes it from any other device that is using the service and from iCloud. I'm not aware of any way of changing that. Otherwise, you can delete photos as described in the following Apple Support page: Delete photos on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
