Storage Full Virus

I have an iPhone 8 and I'm software version 13.6, and I keep getting the notification in my camera app saying the storage is full when it's clearly not even close to being full. I recently deleted a fair few videos, pictures, and apps, so there should be no reason that this notification is coming up. Over 50% of my storage says that it's being taken up by the category "other". I'm just wondering if there is a way I can get rid of the virus without having to restart my phone and lose all my pictures. I have had this problem before, and the virus was acting through my calendar app, and there was a simple solution to that, so I'm hoping that there will be the same with this one as well.
