After installing the iCloud app on my Windows 10 computer, Windows Explorer is showing multiple iCloud icons under Desktop. I already removed and reinstalled the iCloud app few times, even with computer restart. Nothing worked.
A possible solution found on the link below. I am going to follow the instructions and will post the outcome here.

Tonight I will remove the app, and copy screenshots from after e before.
At this moment, my iDrive contents is *not* synchronized to my desktop.
On the other hand, only my shared iPhoto albums are downloaded. The main iPhoto database is not downloaded, a single photo, since I installed the iCloud app, two months ago.
After removing iCloud app from my computer, restarting the computer twice, I still have all the iCloud icons under Desktop
From this image, it is possible to see that the iCloud app is not running.
However, the zillions of iCloud icons are still present in Windows Explorer

It looks like you have a bunch of listings for iCloud Drive after installing the iCloud app on your computer. Did you install iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft store? Do those iCloud Drive instances remain after restarting the PC? Have you noticed any other duplicate files created on your PC?

It worked.
After removing all references to "iCloud", "iDrive", "iPhotos", and "iTunes"from the register, Windows Explorer is back to normal.
Be careful to not remove "ICloud..." which I believe are references to COM interfaces.
Also, from the Windows 10 app list, iCloud is not installed
