How do you make a shopping appointment at Apple store

That would be because all the slots have been filled for the next 7 days. Might have something to do with the holiday shopping season combined with the pandemic. All you can do is check every day, go to an Apple Authorized Reseller, or buy online.

Yeah....sadly it seems in-house shopping is nixed.

problem is, I wanted to swap out my 2nd Braided Loop, as I had done this past Sunday. Don’t know if this falls under “Genius Bar” or “Shopping”. Guess I’ll head to the Cube (5th Ave. NYC) and just chat up a salesperson.

At the Boulder, CO store they absolutely won't let you shop in the store nor will they allow you to ask questions. The security guard told me to make my purchase online and then they will tell me when I can come and get it.

You CANT just wak in even if you want to spend $1200 on a phone. If you make an appt you still have to arrive and join the line... in Boulder you wil wait 2 hrs AFTER your appt t get in!! Might be time t swtch to an android!

You should always buy the phone that best meets your needs. If that's an Android phone, that's what you should buy. I personally recommend Motorola phones. Great battery life, very little bloatware. And no history of exploding that I'm aware of. Also, never buy a really low end Android-based phone, regardless of manufacturer. They are almost always a poor experience and rarely get updates.

I noted that when shopping on the Apple website I was eventually prompted with an option to "book a shopping appointment" at an Apple store.

I could no longer find the link when I went back.

My guess it that it invites you depending on your browsing behaviour and perhaps account spending.

In Norwalk, I walked up and told them I wanted to discuss a purchase. I was told the wait was an hour to speak to someone about trading my Mac Book Pro for a larger one. Not ideal and I certainly did not wait around. P.S. There was NO LINE to get in the store.
