ConsumerCellular SIM card and iPad, how to activate, story not told on CC website

ConsumerCellular does a great job of frustrating an iPad user who orders a SIM card for their new device. The SIM package has no instructions on activation. Going to the CC website the options are based on you having bought a phone at Target or the like and having a box with an activation code. None of that applies here. Here is what works. After you have inserted the CC SIM in your iPad, Turn on WI-FI on the iPad to get internet. Open Safari and type or copy and paste this: www.consumercellular.com/api/assets/apn/consumercellularweb.mobileconfig

If you have no typos an almost blank screen will open and at the Botton will be a link to download a file from CC. When the download finishes open the file. Then go to settings and on the left side near the top, near Cellular Data will be a message that a new cellular profile has been downloaded. Do you want to install? Say yes and agree to that, even though is is not signed by Apple, you wish to install. That should do it. On mine, under Cellular plans it reads AT&T but if you do the pull down from the home screen top right, at the Cell symbol, it says CC Network. Main thing is it now works. IF I turn off WI-Fi data still works with the browser.
