iPhone water problem

My iPhone xs max got wet walking in rain and then the phone stop working. Our local phone services (from I bought my phone) said that is my problem and they don’t want to repair my iPhone. In support.apple.com i found that my iPhone xs max is water proof . So what I have to do? Maybe you can help me and said how I have solve this problem? (Now my phone has turn on problem. Every time he relouding)

Your iPhone is not waterproof, and nowhere in Apple’s documentation does it say it is. It is water and dust resistant, which is not the same thing. You can try letting it dry out for a few days, powered off. But most likely you will need to contact Apple to discuss repair options. Use the Contact Support link at the top of this page.
