My emoji keyboard always opens up on a random tab (of emoticons that I never use, see added photo: it’s always on this tab!), while it should open at the ‘frequently used’ tab or the last tab of which I used an emoticon of.
Can someone please help me to get rid of this annoying bug?
Tried to delete keyboard, restart phone, reset dictionary keyboard... nothing solved it.

It sounds like you're having trouble with the Emoji keyboard opening up to a random page on your iPhone.
Just to confirm, when you removed the keyboard and added it again, did you choose the Emoji keyboard? If not, try that now. You can use these steps to delete and add the Emoji keyboard: About the keyboards settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

The trouble is, when I open the Emoji keyboard (in Messages, Messenger, etc.) by pushing on the emoticon down left, it opens at a random tab (but it is the same tab every time).
On my previous iPhone, the Emoji keyboard always opens at the 'Frequently used' tab, while now it is every time the same random tab...
I tried the actions you mentioned, but none fixed the problem.

I know where to find/pull up my frequently used emojis, but thank you for the information.
The point is that, when I switch from my text keyboard to the emoji keyboard, it always opens at (the same) random tab every time. While with my old iPhone, it always opened at the 'frequently used emoji' tab.
