AirPods Pro sounds terrible on Windows10 PC

Coworkers and clients instantly noticed how poor I sound now (using AirPods Pro) compared to before (using an old USB Jabra puck). Disappointing! I found a YouTube video that showed how to turn off the Handsfree Telephony service in the AirPods Pro Device Properties but that disables the mic on the AirPods making it useless for conferencing. Any suggestions on improving the mic quality from the 1 channel 16bit 8000Hz format it's default to on Windows? Does Apple provide its own driver to improve the quality? Help!
