Do I have to put SIM card from old phone in new one?

i just replaced iphone 6s with iphone SE. i followed the prompts on screen and set it up properly. it never prompted me to switch sim card out and put it in from old phone. new phone appears to be workong properly (calls texts voicemail data) . do i need to still switch in old siM card or not?

No, it’s usually the simplest way to activate it and use your cellular plan.

If everything is working, there is no reason to mess with it.
