If it reads "Disabled" any ideas on how to enable it?
As mentioned above by neuroanatomist—
any device that is bound to Enterprise, mobile, active directory list you will have to talk to your company IT for support on this issue. You may be admin but you do not have complete control.

Then check with your company‘s IT department, as I stated it is likely they applied a policy to your machine that precludes you from making changes like that.

Are you admin?
Are there other user accounts besides admin ?
Verify you have unlocked the padlock to proceed.
RAID partitions or non-standard Boot Camp partitions on the startup drive might prevent OS X from installing a local Recovery System. Without a Recovery System, FileVault won't encrypt your startup drive. Learn more.

From Terminal.app verify you receive a ENABLED response, substitute your user name for "accountname" in the command line, then copy and paste
sudo sysadminctl -secureTokenStatus accountname
You should see something similar:
10:16:48.897 sysadminctl[20261:1556008] Secure token is ENABLED for user "accountname"
Is this your personal Mac, or one provided by an employer/school/etc.? If the latter, they may have applied a policy that prevents you from managing FV.
It is a company issued machine and I am admin on machine with mobile account.
If it reads "Disabled" any ideas on how to enable it?
