Is there a way to override Office365 OAuth2 settings?

Our institution update the authorization method of the mailing system and now we have to use outlook as the only supported client on mac os.

However, for linux users, one can use evolution as the mail client by setting Oauth2 as the authorization type and overriding the tenant and application id.

I cannot find any setting in mac mail like the above. So I hopefully would like to get some ideas from here.

Thanks!

Apple Mail in macOS Catalina supports OAuth 2.0. You might not be able to convert an existing account to use it, but if you go into System Preferences > Internet Accounts and delete the account from your Mac, then add it again using the Exchange option, it should "just work".
