Can’t send SMS texts over Metro PCS

I Can’t send SMS texts with any of my 3 iPhone lines. I have Metro PCS as my carrier.

this just started 2 days ago ( Aug 20th)

i can still send IMessages to other IPHONES only.

... I’ve gone through all the usual attempts to fix this/ reset phone, reset network, restart phone,

i went to metro PCS and they said 2 other people are having the same issues but couldn’t fix it. they said it is an Apple issue.??!

anyone else having this problem?

HELP!

PS Please don’t bother posting an obvious fix answer like: (restart .. DUH) unless your having the same problem and / or resolved It. THIS IS TOTALLY NEW.

thank you for your responses..

after going through every possible option in my phone (via Apple) and speaking to the folks in the metro store. ( who were clueless BTW)

I called metro back and they sent a NETWORK RESET to all 3 of my phones and it finally resolved the issue...

So yes, it was A Metro PCS issue.

what a relief..

This is a great long post about a iMessage registration problem when someone goes from iPhone to Android.

But that is not what the question is. It is sort of like if someone asks you what time it is and you respond with a long answer of how to use celsius and fahrenheit for telling the temperature. Nice information but not relevant. You are also in effect telling the original poster, Ted Kinney, that his answer that was marked Apple Recommended to solve his own problem was incorrect envelopes though he posted it and said it worked on all 3 of his phones that had the problem.

Actually I did! But when I initially responded the entire threat wasn’t visible only his post was. HENCE my phone being able to send sms texts now. Enjoy the rest of your day! ✌🏼

My issues is that I don’t have internet which I pay for a monthly $50 dollars it’s said it’s covered with internet including otherwise why I have to pay if don’t came with internet I have to be crazy I did it for Certification Setting I reading everything I know would it say but when I putting in practice never work I know would it saying but not luck I tried many times I need help to setup

I concur.... just to reiterate:

THIS ISSUE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SEND TEXT MESSAGES WAS RESOLVED BY CALLING METRO PCS AND HAVING THEM DO A “NETWORK RESET” ON MY PHONES FROM THEIR END.

Simple as that.

Not sure what Talon92 is talking about because I nodded off attempting to read some over complicated self aggrandizing diatribe.

Its possible he didn't read the part about it being resolved in one fell swoop for all 3 of my phones.
