How do i go about either getting this account removed from my devices? I have been trying for months to get it reset and I haven’t had any luck in doing so. Now, I have an iPad that had the email on it and I can’t get passed the activation lock screen. If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Also, I had tried all the reset options but seeing the email account has been compromised my password doesn’t work anymore to the account.

Many can make such claims, not that you did it but Apple needs proof.

I have tried those options but, none of those have worked. I just decided to stop using that account. Now I have an iPad that I can’t use cause it was under that id. I wish I could get it removed off cause I reset it and i can’t get passed the activation screen. So now I can’t use the iPad anymore.
Sorry, but privacy and ownership is very important to many of us even if it's not for you.
You need to prove the device is yours with a genuine receipt.
Activation Lock is a theft deterrent feature with no bypass or workaround.
Without the owner's authorisation (Apple ID & password), no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.
For the record I’m a very private person so don’t say people don’t like their privacy. Also, I get that but I can’t get the owner seeing that they have passed away. So basically I have a boat anchor that I can’t use.
It was given to me years ago and don’t have the receipt. I didn’t know it would take an act of congress to get that done.
